"It is common knowledge that the apple production volume in China greatly decreased this year as a result of extreme weather conditions. Shaanxi Province is one of the largest apple production areas in China. The apple production volume decreased in Shaanxi just like in the rest of China." "The extreme weather conditions were not only not favorable for the apple production volume, but also influenced product quality to various degrees. This development placed further limits on the overall supply volume of commercial-quality apples in the market. The current market price of various apple varieties is much higher than it was in the same period last year, and the market is still in a situation wher demand greatly exceeds supply."

"Our apples come from Xunyi County in Shaanxi, one of the most widely recognized apple production areas acknowledged for its superior apples. Our company has more than 752 hectares of apple orchards in Xunyi County, both in our own possession and through cooperation with agricultural cooperatives and individual apple farmers. Organic orchards take up around 85 hectares of our orchards, while the rest of the regular orchards cover the remaining 667 hectares."

"Our apple supply season begins every year in October and continues until June to August in the subsequent year. We plant and sell a wide range of apple varieties. The main product varieties include red Fuji apples and Gala apples. Our most popular apple, one of the market favorites, is the classical Xunyi County Malan red apple. We currently sell our apples mainly through traditional retail channels to wholesale markets and supermarkets in first and second tier cities throughout China."

"Up until this moment we have been unable to realize our ambition to directly export to overseas markets, although we do supply apples to exporters. In the future, however, while we steadily develop our current market share in the domestic apple market, we also hope to develop direct export to overseas markets. We hope to establish cooperation with overseas buyers who wish to work together, so that we can bring our apples to even more consumers."
