Two recalls have been announced for undeclared allergens. Boar’s Head Everroast Chicken Caesar Wrap is recalled for undeclared eggs, and Atherstone Foods is recalling Greens and Grains Hummus and Quinoa Tabouleh Wraps for undeclared soy.
Russ Davis Wholesaler of Colorado is recalling about 956 pounds of ready-to-eat Chicken Caesar Wrap products because they contain eggs, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported in connection with this problem. Anyone who is allergic to eggs could have a serious reaction if they eat this product.
The recalled product is Boar’s Head Everroast Chicken Caesar Wrap in 11.3-ounce plastic clamshell packages. The sell by dates on the product range from 11/15/18 to 12/19/18. These wraps were produced on various dates ranging from November 12, 2018 through December 16, 2018. These items have the establishment number “P45204B” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in New Mexico.
An incorrect ingredient statement was used to make the final product. If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.
The second recall is for Greens and Grains Hummus and Quinoa Tabouleh Wrap for undeclared soy. This product was distributed in retail supermarkets in Northern California. The product is packaged in a 14.6 ounce clear plastic container, with a use by date sticker of 12/19/18.
A review of records found that the product with soy was distributed in packaging that did not list that ingredient on the label.
If you purchased either of these products and are allergic to the respective allergens, throw it away. You can also return it to the store wher you bought it for a full refund.
