$100,000 in grants are now available through the 2019 Australia–China Agricultural Cooperation Agreement (ACACA) program for projects which grow agricultural trade between Australia and China.

Minister for Agriculture David Littleproud said agricultural businesses with projects or trade missions are encouraged to apply.

“ACACA aims to strengthen our relationship with our largest export market for agricultural, fisheries and forestry products, worth almost $13.6 billion in 2017–18,” Minister Littleproud said.

“We are looking for projects which will encourage collaboration and growth in the Australia/China two-way trade, which will benefit  farmers and food producers in both countries.”

“Over the past 30 years the program has been part of more than 200  technical exchanges, working groups, training programs and sharing research and development.”

“The program also helps our farming, fishing and forestry industries unlock the new opportunities afforded through the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA). It has been a key part of Australias bilateral trade relationship for more than three decades.”
