Chicago-based ingredients business, Newly Weds Foods, is bolstering its liquid products portfolio with the acquisition of UK sauces and butters maker, Jigsaw Foods.

Predominantly operating from its primary facility in Nottinghamshire, Jigsaw manufactures sauces, butters, dressing and spreads to food makers and food service operators in the UK and US.

The Jigsaw Foods operation now joins existing Newly Weds Foods UK sites located in Ossett, Banbury and Corby.

“The addition of Jigsaw Foods is one more step in Newly Weds Foods strategy to grow the company’s global portfolio of liquid product capabilities,” said Charles T. Angell, President of Newly Weds Foods.
