Godiva Chocolatier appointed Brent Franks to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Franks joins Godiva from Aramark, wher he worked seven years, most recently as COO-International. Before that, he spent 29 years with Pepsi Bottling Co., which included serving as president of Pepsi Mexico with 23,000 employees. He also served as SVP of global sales and chief customer officer.
Godiva CEO Annie Young-Scrivner created the COO role as part of her vision for the business. Franks is now the ninth member of Godivas executive committee to be appointed by Young-Scrivner since she became CEO in 2017.
“Godiva is at a pivotal point wher the role of COO is necessary to ensure that operational excellence will scale at the same pace as our aspirations for global business growth,” said Young-Scrivner.

Godiva Chocolatier was founded in Brussels in 1926. It became a worldwide brand after its 1967 acquisition by Campbell Soup Co. Campbell sold it in 2008 to Yildiz Holding of Turkey, which folded it in 2016 into Pladis, a food company that also comprises United Biscuits, Ulker and DeMet’s Candy Co.
