Smood has launched five semi finished products made from oats.

Oats contain fibres that are digested very slowly, help reduce cholesterol and support a healthy intestinal flora and increased resistance. Due to these characteristics, oats were awarded a health certificate of excellence from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

Smoods new products are: screened oats, dehusked toasted oats, extruded oats, ground oats ≤ 300 mµ and extruded oats with a vegetable/fruit mix and extra nutritional value.

The semi finished products are certified gluten free and the ingredients are sourced from IFS certified companies in the Netherlands. The company produces the products at its production site in Horst.

As well as supplying its clients with semi finished products based on oats, Smood is also willing to enter into strategic partnerships.
