Kliklok has won an order to supply two JR carton forming machines to Heilmann in Germany to erect tapered trays made from biodegradable and recycled board, packing fruit and vegetables.

This brings the total number of Kliklok installations for Heilmann to nine.

With economic and environmental factors continually playing a strong role in the packaging business, with particular emphasis on sustainability, the preference for using recycled carton board trays indicates a noticeable retreat from traditional plastic punnets.

The JR was selected for its long standing reputation as a versatile and dependable machine, designed to accommodate small to medium sized cartons at up to 60 cartons per minute, providing a steady flow of formed cartons or trays for either hand filling or automatic product loading.
