PureCircle by Ingredion has introduced NSF-13, a sweetener suitable for dairy, bakery and beverage applications. Comprising sugar-like steviol glycosides, including Reb M, the product increases targeted flavour tonalities, notably brown notes, while reducing potential bitterness on top of its core sweetness, the company says.
The product meets European regulatory standards for use, meaning the company can now offer its sweetness quality solution to food and beverage companies across the globe.
