Catalent has been recognised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its health and safety practices, achieving a silver award for a second consecutive year. The company is a global provider of advanced delivery technologies, development, and manufacturing solutions for drugs, biologics, cell and gene therapies, and consumer health products.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which is the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Julia Small, Head of Qualifications, Awards and Events, RoSPA said: “RoSPA wants every employee, wherver they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day.
"The RoSPA Award winners are vital to help achieve this goal, as by entering they are driving up standards and setting new benchmarks for organisations everywher. Currently, around 7 million people are directly impacted by the RoSPA Awards, but the scheme’s influence is even wider.”

Catalent will be presented with the award during a ceremony on Tuesday 8 September, 2020, at the ExCel Exhibition Centre, London.
