She was formerly the VP of Growth Platforms at FONA International.

Nammex announced that Bill Chioffi has joined the company’s management team as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. Chioffi has 30 years of experience in the production and sale of herbal medicine within the natural products retail, manufacturing, and food and beverage sectors. He served a 21-year tenure with Gaia Herbs in various roles, concluding with his responsibilities as Vice President of Global Sourcing and Sustainability. Most recently, Chioffi was the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for the Ric Scalzo Institute for Botanical Research at Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly SCNM), creating partnerships with Arizona State University and companies from the Natural Products sector for funded botanical research projects for two years. In addition to his work with Nammex, he serves on multiple nonprofit boards: United Plant Savers, The Sustainable Herbs Program, and Appalachian Forest Farmers. He also represents Nammex with the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA).

Jeff Moyer was named on City and State Pennsylvania publication’s power 100 list for agriculture. The list highlights 100 leaders “cultivating the state’s thriving farming sectors.” Moyer is a world-renowned authority on organic agriculture and CEO of Rodale Institute. The publication deemed Moyer an “organic farming guru” and highlighted his work advocating for regenerative organic agriculture. After joining Rodale Institute in 1976, Moyer spent 30 years as Farm Manager/Director before being appointed as Executive Director of the Institute in 2015. He was promoted to CEO in 2020. Moyer is well-known for conceptualizing and popularizing a Rodale Institute-invented tractor attachment dubbed the “roller crimper.” It’s a tool in no-till organic agriculture that limits soil erosion, improves soil health, and increases biodiversity. Moyer’s professional accomplishments include serving as the chair of the National Organic Standards Board. Further, he sits on the boards of the Regenerative Organic Alliance, the Soil Health Institute, and the advisory board of The Real Organic Project. In addition, he is a founding board member of Pennsylvania Certified Organic and past Founder and Board Chair of The Seed Farm, a farmer incubator project.

GoodSAM Foods announced multiple new hires: Kari Janapareddi as Director of Sales, Sara Galeano as Director of Sustainability, and Ryan Siwinski as Director of U.S. Operations. Janapareddi joins GoodSAM with over 12 years of CPG experience, including seven years working in the chocolate category at Taza Chocolate. Most recently she was the National Sales Manager at NuttZo. NutriLeads BV has appointed Joana Carneiro, Ph.D., as Chief Executive Officer. Co-founder and former CEO Erik Dam is stepping down from the company as it is accelerating into the next growth phase. Dr. Carneiro joined NutriLeads in April 2022 as Chief Commercial Officer with responsibilities for sales, marketing and business development. She previously held several leadership positions in both research and development and commercial operations during a decade at DSM, the global health, nutrition and biosciences company. Her positions included Global Commercial Operations Director and Global Business Director with P&L responsibility for ingredient businesses serving several segments of the food and beverage market. She led multidisciplinary business teams and developed and executed growth strategies that resulted in strong sales and increased market share.

Eva Criado Clemente is the new Marketing Manager and Sales Manager for Europe and Latin America (LATAM) at Gadot Biochemicals Industries, Ltd. based in Madrid, Criado Clemente brings to Gadot more than two decades of experience in omnichannel marketing and communications, business development, and strategic management for the nutraceutical, sports nutrition, and pharmaceutical ingredients. BGG World (BGG) has appointed Judy Kim, CMWC, CFS, to the position of Senior Sales Manager for BGG Americas.
