The product comes in a pack size of 230g and has the batch code 18823. The best before date to look out for is July 2024.
As well as recalling the batch, the company has said that point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores wher the product is sold.
Consumers that have purchased the product have been advised to not eat it. It can be returned to the store of purchase for a full refund.
Meanwhile in the US, Rich Products of Buffalo, New York is recalling 15 cases of Member’s Mark Breaded Mozzarella Sticks as they may contain undeclared egg and soy.
The product was distributed to Sam’s Club retail stores in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
The recalled product was sold in a cardboard box package with a net weight of five LB. The “Best If Used By Date” is 12/28/2024 and the UPC number is 078742226880.
According to the company, “no illnesses have been reported to date”.
