07 Nov 2023 --- Global bev-tech company Beliv, in collaboration with the Mariposa Group, has unveiled Mighty Pop within the US market. The functional organic beverage is an organic plant-powered soda with pre-, pro- and postbiotics support immune health.
Coined the “Mighty 3,” the soda supports digestive and immune health and is lightly sweetened with agave. Each serving contains one billion live probiotic cultures, 3 g of sugar and 3 g of fiber from the acacia plant.

Fierce fruity flavors
The USDA-certified pop comes in strawberry hibiscus, berry lime, grapefruit pineapple and orange vanilla flavors, contains 30 calories per can and helps positively modulate the microbiome. The initial production sold out in a month, the company claims.
“Beliv created a unique formulation that’s progressive for the soda category, the first of its kind to advance pre-, pro- and postbiotics,” says Santos.
“Mighty Pop is the latest example of how innovative products can be nurtured and brought to market quickly. We truly believe we’re satisfying US consumers’ needs for tastier and functional beverages that also solve for health and convenience,” says Carlos Sluman, founder of Beliv, a company with a portfolio of 52 brands in 35 countries.
Nuanced nostalgia
Mighty Pop joins Beliv’s roster of beverage brands available in the US across various categories, including Petit (nectar), Oca (organic plant-based energy), Güitig (globally awarded volcanic sparkling water), Big Easy (kombucha and functional shots) and High Brew (cold brew coffee), the company’s latest acquisition.
“Spanning brands that evoke familiarity, authenticity and nostalgia like Petit and Güitig to those that are ahead of health and consumer trends like Mighty Pop, Beliv’s portfolio is on track for explosive growth in the US,” says Reinaldo Padua, chief brand officer, Beliv.
