In the UK, AB World Foods is recalling Patak’s Aubergine Pickle as the product may contain pieces of glass.

The affected products have been distributed and sold in Waitrose and Sainsbury’s stores in the UK.

The recalled product comes in a pack size of 312g and has the batch code 3172. The best before date to look out for is June 2026.

As well as recalling the above product, the company has issued a recall notice to its customers to tell them what they should do if they have purchased the product.

Advice states consumers should not eat the product. Instead they can return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.

Undeclared allergens

Meanwhile in the US, John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc (JBSS) has shared that it recalling a limited quantity of its 8.25 oz Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews as they contain undeclared coconut and milk.

Potential affected products being recalled include Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews with a best if used by date of 8 July 2025 GH2. The product can be identified with the UPC code : 078742133348.

According to the company, “no adverse reactions have been reported to date”.

The product was distributed to selec Walmart stores in the US. States include:

Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia as well as via Walmart’s website.

Advice to consumers state that the product should not be consumed, rather discarded or returned to the store of purchase for a full refund.
