US brand Pure Protein has released its new plant-based protein powder.

The Pure Protein Super Food will be offered in three different flavours, namely dark cocoa, vanilla bean and mixed berry super fruits.

Owned by Natures Bounty, the company claims that its Pure Protein Super Food is a vegan, non-GMO product that contains only naturally sourced super greens and is free from soy, dairy, artificial flavours, colours and sweeteners.

Each flavour of Pure Protein Super Food contains between 140 and 160 calories, 5gm or less of sugar and 20gm of plant-based complete protein.

Natures Bounty chief marketing officer Derek Bowen said: "With the rise in popularity of plant-based nutrition, we recognise that our consumers are looking for convenient ways to add more protein while also trying to incorporate more fruits, vegetables and greens into their diet.

“We believe the taste of our plant-based protein product sets us apart from the other plant protein offerings on the market.”

Pure Protein Super Food is currently available online on Amazon and selected retailers across the US, including Kroger, Meijer, Food Lion & H-E-B.
