Mars, Inc. is strengthening its digital capabilities with the hiring of two executives. Sandeep Dadlani has been named chief digital officer of Mars, and George Corbin joins the company as chief digital demand officer.
“Digital is changing the way our consumers and customers experience our products and services,” said Grant F. Reid, chief executive officer and president of Mars. “New expectations, competition, distribution channels and opportunities present themselves every day. As we use digital capability to transform our business, we’re delighted that Sandeep Dadlani and George Corbin will bring their depth of expertise in this area.”
Mr. Dadlani succeeds Vittorio Cretella, chief information officer, who is retiring in September after 26 years with the company. In his new role, Mr. Dadlani will have responsibility for driving the company’s digital transformation agenda across Mars’ global business segments. He joins Mars from Infosys, a global systems integration firm, wher he was president and head of Americas. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from M.S. University, Baroda, India, and a master of business administration degree in finance from Mumbai University in India. He will report to Angela Mangiapane, president of Mars Global Services, and Claus Aagaard, chief financial officer.
George Corbin, chief digital demand officer for Mars
Mr. Corbin will oversee the integration of Mars’ e-commerce and digital businesses. He also will lead the relationship with the company’s global digital commerce partners and work with leaders in global businesses segments to transform the company’s digital demand approaches. Mr. Corbin joins Mars from Marriott International, wher he most recently was senior vice-president of digital. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Davis and a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School. He will report to Andrew Clarke, chief customer and marketing officer.
