India-based pantry staples producer Wegan Foods has secured venture financing from Sheikha Arwa Al Qassimi.

US-based food and related products distributor Sysco Corporation plans to raise $750m in public offering of 3.25% senior notes due July 2027.

Interest on the notes will be paid biannually on 15 January and 15 July, starting from next January.

Maturing on 15 July 2027, the notes will yield 3.313% on maturity representing an offer price of 99.463% of the principal amount.

Thai agro-industrial and food conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Foods (CP Foods) plans to issue common shares to raise THB38.72bn ($1.14bn) through capital increase.

"Maturing on 15 July 2027, the notes will yield 3.313% on maturity representing an offer price of 99.463% of the principal amount."

The company proposes to issue one new common share for every five existing common shares, at a price of THB25 ($0.73) a share.

UK-based company Compass Group has raised €750m ($839.56m) through the issue of international bonds due July 2024 in a public offering.

Compass Group is involved in contract foodservice and support services.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Citigroup and HSBC Holdings are the bookrunners for the transaction, while Clearstream Banking is the depository.
