General Mills brand Yoplait has introduced three new yoghurt flavours under a licence from Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA).
Girls Scouts of the USA is a youth organisation, whose mission is to build girls’ courage, confidence and character, while its annual cookie programme teaches business and life skills to the next generation of female entrepreneurs.
The three new flavours that will be rolled out in the US retail market include Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Thin Mints, Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Peanut Butter Chocolate, and Yoplait Original Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut.
Yoplait business unit director Doug Martin said: “For those who wish they had more ways to enjoy their favourite chocolate mint, peanut butter chocolate, and caramel coconut flavours, we have three delicious, new yoghurts inspired by America’s most popular Girl Scout cookie flavours.
“Girl Scouts of the USA does extraordinary things for girls like teaching them valuable life and business skills through the Girl Scout cookie Programme, which is why we are honoured to work with the organisation.”

Thin Mints and Peanut Butter Chocolate flavours will be available in 4oz cups, while the Caramel Coconut flavour will be available in 6oz cups.
GSUSA chief revenue officer Barry Horowitz said: “Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is excited about its relationship with Yoplait to create yoghurts inspired by three of the beloved Girl Scout cookie flavours.
“Beyond the delicious flavour, the yoghurts will also remind consumers everywher of the power of Girl Scout cookies.”
