What is Andrographis Extract?

Andrographis (Paniculata) extract, originates from herb Andrographis Paniculata, an annual herbaceous plant in the family Acanthaceae. Powder andrographis extract is prepared from aerial part of herb andrographis paniculata by solvent ethanol. The active ingredient of andrographis extract is generally andrographolide(cas#:5508-58-7). There are other diterpene lactones such as neoandrographolide, dehydroxyandrographolide and 14-deoxyandrographolide etc.
