Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), Muscatine, Iowa has received Non-GMO Project Verification at its Washington, Indiana, production facility for maltodextrin and corn syrup solids.
“We are excited to continue the expansion of our Non-GMO program,” said Brian Tompoles, Vice President, GPC Specialty Ingredients. “Non-GMO foods are a growing trend, and while we have offered non-GMO ingredients for more than 15 years utilizing our own stringent traceability practices, our participation with the Non-GMO Project underscores our commitment to transparency and high standards in response to this consumer demand.”
Non-GMO Project Verification is the only Non-GMO, third-party verification in North America. Applicants submit products and processes to independent review, according to comprehensive standards developed by industry experts.
