Packaged food company Hostess Brands has launched its Peanut Butter Ding Dongs in the US, reportedly in response to the growing demand for the flavouring in the snacking category.
Hostess Brands Peanut Butter Ding Dongs is a combination of peanut butter cake and a creamy filling, with a drizzle of peanut butter over rich fudge.
Hostess Brands All Day Snacking Brand director Keith Peterfeso said: “Since the launch of Hostess White Fudge Ding Dongs last year, the brand has experienced rapid growth and now boasts a flavour for virtually every taste.
"With household penetration and repeat buying households on the rise, the popularity of Ding Dongs is on an upward a trajectory, and is a brand ripe for continued innovation."

Hostess Peanut Butter Ding Dongs, to be available in multipack and single serve formats, will be sold at retail outlets across the US.
Hostess Brands entered the US food market in 1919 with the launch of the Hostess CupCake, which was followed by Twinkies in 1930.
Currently, the company manufactures a variety of new and classic treats including Ding Dongs, Ho Hos, Donettes and Fruit Pies.
