Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) announced today it has been named to the Forbes 2018 list of America’s Best Employers, marking the second consecutive year that the company has received this recognition. ADM jumped 44 spots in the rankings to 366, from 410 in 2017.
In collaboration with analytics firm Statista, Forbes asked 30,000 American employees – 82 percent full-timers – working for large firms or institutions to rate their willingness to recommend their own companies on a scale of 0 to 10. The employees who took part in the survey were not consulted via their employers but rather through several anonymous online access panels. Respondents were also asked to name employers that stand out either negatively or positively within their industry. The top 500 employers – representing 25 different industries – were highlighted based on the results.
“Receiving this recognition from Forbes for the second year in a row is an honor, and we at ADM are proud to be viewed as one of America’s top employers,” said Michael D’Ambrose, senior vice president and chief human resources officer at ADM. “This award demonstrates ADM’s commitment to our employees, and our efforts as a company to develop talent, foster diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and provide the resources employees need to keep growing.”
ADM has approximately 31,000 employees around the world. Visit www.adm.com/careers for information on current job openings and careers opportunities at ADM.
