Aldi and Lidl are dominating the German discounter landscape. Now an entrepreneur from Billigheim wants to enter this market, invading from Russia. The Torgservis concept is strongly reminiscent of the early beginnings of German discounters.

Torgservis, the name of the new chain in question, wants to attract customers through very simple offers. TS Markt GmbH is currently looking for more than 100 locations.

Spreading from Berlin, branches are also to be established in northern Germany, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia and Brandenburg. The company is looking for real estate with sales areas of ​​800 to 1200 square meters and parking spaces for 30 to 40 cars. This means these new shops would be much smaller than those of the competition. On average, Aldi and Lidl are relying on stores that have an average area of ​​1500 square meters.
