Market of Choice of Eugene, Oregon is recalling about 1,094 pounds of pork and poultry pate products because they contain milk and soy, soy is one of the major food allergens, that aren’t declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients, or who is lactose intolerant, could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date.
These foods were produced on various dates before March 26, 2019. They have a 30-day shelf life. The recalled products are:
5-ounce packages containing slices of “Market of Choice Country Pâté” and sell by dates prior to and including 04/25/19.
5-ounce packages containing slices of “Market of Choice Chicken Pâté with Rosemary & Lemon” with sell by dates prior to and including 04/25/19.
Whole terrine bulk packages containing “Market of Choice NORTHWEST GAME PATE” with sell by dates prior to and including 04/25/19.
Terrine bulk packages containing “COUNTRY PORK & PISTACHIO PATE MARKET OF CHOICE” with sell by dates prior to and including 04/25/19.
Terrine bulk packages containing “LEMON CHICKEN & ROSEMARY PATE MARKET OF CHOICE” with sell by dates prior to and including 04/25/19.
All of these products were shipped to Market of Choice retail outlets in Oregon.
If you purchased any of these products and can’t eat soy or milk for whatever reason, don’t eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
