US-based Whole Earth Sweetener Company has expanded its portfolio with the launch of three zero-calorie sweetener products.
Whole Earth’s range of sweeteners comprises Stevia & Monk Fruit Liquid Sweeteners, Stevia Leaf & Monk Fruit Cubes, and 100% Erythritol sweetener pouches.
Whole Earth Stevia & Monk Fruit Liquid Sweetener is produced using organic agave nectar, stevia leaf and monk fruit extracts, water and natural vanilla and raspberry flavouring. It is said to be free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
The company aims to bring back ‘sugar’ cubes without the sugar with its Stevia Leaf & Monk Fruit Cubes. The zero-calorie cubes are produced using stevia leaf and monk fruit extracts.
The third variant, Erythritol, is said to be a keto diet friendly product with zero calories, sugar or net carbs.
Whole Earth senior brand manager Emily Josephson said: “Many consumers today are choosing more wellness-focused approaches to their health, as we’ve seen in the rise of the reduced and no sugar, plant-based and keto trends driving the popularity of Whole Earth.
“In fact, 2018 was the first year consumers spent more on natural sugar substitutes than artificial, so we’re focused on developing products that tap into this demand and help consumers maintain their lifestyles without sacrificing on sweetness and flavour.”
The company said that its new range of sweeteners will be available at grocery retailers and e-commerce websites.
In addition, Whole Earth Stevia Leaf & Monk Fruit packets are available in restaurants, food service venues and coffee shops.
