FrieslandCampina Ingredients has introduced its new global segment organisation, which incorporates its four individual operating companies, to tap the growing nutritional market.
Domo, Kievit, DMV and Nutrifeed have been reorganised into early life nutrition, adult nutrition, food and beverages, as well as animal nutrition segments. With the company launch, FrieslandCampina intends to provide advanced solutions to customer demand for nutritional, healthy and tasty food products, as one unified brand.
The early life nutrition segment will continue to offer infant milk formula products, while the adult nutrition segment will deliver performance, active and medical nutrition products.
Additionally, the food and beverages segment will serve the global customers, while the animal nutrition segment continues to work with an international customer base of dairy farms.
FrieslandCampina Ingredients president Kathy Fortmann said: “The introduction of FrieslandCampina Ingredients builds on the company’s strong history, which started in 1871 when farmers joined forces in local cooperative dairy factories.

With facilities located across the globe, the segments have regional sales offices in the Netherlands, Singapore, China, Brazil and the US operating under one unified brand identity and tagline, ‘The Inside Matters’.
