Consumers who allege that their pets died as a result of eating the tainted product have filed a federal lawsuit against Midwestern Pet Foods that they are seeking to convert to a class action. As reported by Law360.com, one plaintiff alleged that not only did three of his pit bulls die from the tainted food, but that eight puppies recently borne by one of them died also.
