Britvic Soft Drinks has strengthened the Tango portfolio with the launch of Tango Blood Orange.
Fruit carbonates enjoy a 7.7% share of the soft drinks category in the UK, and with orange the number one flavour choice in this segment, the new drink – which is available in 2L, 600ml, 330ml and six x 330ml formats – aims to embrace the nation’s love affair with citrus flavoured carbonates.
The launch coincides with a new pack design for the Tango portfolio, which includes Tango Orange, Tango Apple and Tango Cherry.
Kirsty Hunter, director of carbonates at Britvic, comments, "We have created Tango Blood Orange in direct response to consumers love of all things orange. As part of our commitment to innovation, we aim to deliver the best tasting intense orange experience and we believe that Tango Blood Orange does this. We have also taken this opportunity to reinvigorate the rest of the Tango brand portfolio with new packaging that will make it stand out on shelf, further driving impulse sales in 2015."
