Burtons Biscuit Company has expanded its range of Maryland Choc Chip cookies with the launch of Maryland Crispies.

Launching in Tesco, the range comprises two variants, Choc Chip & Coconut and Choc Chip & Caramel. Both are priced at £1.15 (145g x 20 SRP).

"In recent years there has been an explosion of new flavours and textures within large cookies, but theres been much less innovation in more permissible, smaller cookies," says David Costello, head of category and shopper management at Burtons Biscuit Company.

"Innovative Maryland Crispies provide a very different texture and flavour experience, but in an everyday 10g cookie to meet every day treating occasions."
