In the UK, Lidl GB is recalling its XXL Ocean Sea Cooked & Peeled Large Prawns as they contain sulphites that are not mentioned on the label.
The discount retailer is recalling the above product and has also been asked to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their members about the recall.
In addition, the supermarket has issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers to explain to customers why the product is being recalled.

This voluntary recall as been initiated as the product may contain an undeclared egg allergen. The product being recalled has the lot number 7631005049 I 21-65 and comes in a 1/2 gallon size.
Taking food safety seriously, all potentially impacted products have been removed from all United Dairy Farmers store shelves.
Prairie Farms Dairy has claimed that “to date, there have been no reported cases of illness reported to the company”.
Those that have purchased the recalled product may return the it to their local United Dairy Farmers store for a full refund.
