BASF Nutrition & Health has opened its new technical application laboratory at Singapore Polytechnic.

Known as Newtrition Lab Asia Pacific, the new facility will be offering analytical services, as well as co-develop products with customers in the region. It will also provide nutrient information to Asia Pacific markets.

BASF nutrition and health experts will be working with researchers and students at Singapore Polytechnic to develop science-based solutions and concepts, in order to provide strategic customer support.

The company further added that it is its first facility in a tertiary institution in Singapore.

The BASF Nutrition & Health Division currently has two labs in China and one in Mumbai, India.

The new lab in Singapore would enhance BASF’s R&D footprint in this region.
