Global food ingredients provider Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has acquired a controlling stake in Industries Centers.

Following this acquisition, Industries Centers will now be known as ADM Israel.

Established in 1993, Industries Centers is an Israel-based firm that is engaged in the trading of corn byproducts and other grain commodities.

ADM agricultural services business unit president Joe Taets said: “By combining ADM’s unparalleled global network with the experience and capabilities of Industries Centers, ADM Israel offers customers in Israel unequalled service, including end-to-end supply chain management.

“This is yet another way in which ADM is expanding its global origination and distribution network into new geographies."

“We’re looking forward to expanding to offer both new and existing customers in Israel a wide array of products, from soybean meal to grains to feed ingredients.”

ADM Israel caters to the needs of a diversified customer base within Israel, and operates a 45,000mt storage facility that is strategically located at the Port of Ashdod.

Taets added: “This is yet another way in which ADM is expanding its global origination and distribution network into new geographies, and growing our capability to deliver products from around the globe directly to customers.

The acquisition is expected to further enhance ADM’s marketing capabilities.
