The extended deal will see Univar distribute Pell branded products, including sodium-free alternatives, across Europe.

Kudos Blends products already being distributed by Univar include a wide range of single and double-acting baking powders. They are claimed to be potassium-based, thereby reducing the sodium levels in end products

Univar Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) food ingredients commercial manager Gary Abraham said: “Kudos’ high-quality ingredients allow our customers to achieve appropriate rise and finish in the process of baking doughnuts, crumpets, cakes and more.”
