Nestlé UK has released the limited-edition tubes of orange Smarties across the country following a huge consumer demand for the product.
The tubes of orange Smarties will be available exclusively across the UK supermarket chain ASDA.
The company noted that their teams of consumer service experts in York, UK, have received many requests for the orange chocolate sweet.
Nestlé seasonal confectionery manager Iain Beavis said: “It simply got to the point wher we had to make it happen.
"The orange ones are the only Smarties that have their own flavour and they have their very own cult following because of that.
“The distinctive flavour also means that manufacturing them in high volume, on their own, is slightly more difficult to do given the different process and recipe required to get that orangey taste.
"Our experts have been hard at work to make it happen so that 2017 is the perfect Christmas for fans of orange Smarties."

The company noted that Smarties has been around since 1937 when the UK-based confectionary business Rowntree’s renamed the product that had previously been known as Chocolate Dragée or Chocolate Beans.
Nestlé claims that its orange Smarties do not contain any artificial flavours or colouring except orange oil.
The company’s 2017 confectionery seasonal range also includes a Smarties Santa’s Workshop as well as KitKat and Peppermint Aero novelty supertubes.
