Peru exported a total of 13,711,881 kilos of ginger at an FOB value of US $23,566,160 between January and September of this year. 

According to reports from the Agrodata Peru website, the United States was the main market destination for this product, as it made purchases of US $11,511,000. It was followed by the Netherlands (US $8,046,000), Canada (US $1,969,000), Germany (US $299,000), and Chile (US $259,000).

The main exporting companies were Agronegocios La Grama, with operations that totaled US $3.9 million (17% of total shipments) and Prac Agrobusiness SAC (with US $3.2 million) (14%), among others.
