Food ingredient supplier DuPont Nutrition and Health has relocated its production site in Botany to Erskine Park, New South Wales (NSW), Australia.
The relocation is said to be part of the company’s expansion plan in order to meet the growing demand for its products in the food sector.
The Erskine Park facility is a speciality food ingredient blending plant, which houses both production and warehousing facilities.
Spread over an area of 1000m2, the site features new equipment with enhanced capabilities to ensure food safety and quality during the manufacturing process.
“The expansion and new capabilities underscore our commitment to drive and support strong business growth.”
The company noted that its new facility has the potential to scale up and can produce twice as much capacity compared to the previous facility in Botany.
DuPont Nutrition and Health Asia Pacific manufacturing and supply chain manager Jack Hung said: “The expansion and new capabilities underscore our commitment to drive and support strong business growth across the dairy, beverage and bakery industries in the Asia Pacific.
“As we transition production from Botany to Erksine Park, we will ensure that our business partners continue to receive the service excellence expected from us.”
Part of DowDuPont speciality products division, DuPont Nutrition and Health serves food, beverages, and dietary supplement industries by combining its knowledge of food and nutrition.
