Müller UK & Ireland has launched two new yoghurt products, Müller Quark Yogurt and Müller Corner Lactose-Free.

The Müller Quark Yogurt features a combination of traditionally thick Alpine-style quark and creamy yoghurt.

The protein-rich product will be available in three different flavours, namely plain, strawberry, and vanilla.

Beginning from this month, the quark yoghurt will be retailed in Asda and distributed to other retailers across the UK from September.

Consumers can purchase a 150g Müller Quark Yogurt pot for a registered retail price (RRP) of £0.99.

“With Müller Quark Yogurt and Müller Corner Lactose-Free, we will continue to strengthen our leadership in new and exciting parts of the category.”

Last year, the firm announced that it intends to make a £100m investment over the next three years in order to further strengthen its position in the dairy segment and expand its product portfolio.

Müller chief marketing officer Michael Inpong said: “Alongside creating everyday moments of pleasure for our consumers, we’re focused on building a vibrant future for the British dairy industry. We are already the UK’s favourite yoghurt and desserts brand, but we must continue to meet the needs of our customers every step of the way.

“We have increased our marketing spend by almost 25%, extended our successful partnership with British Athletics, and with Müller Quark Yogurt and Müller Corner Lactose-Free, we will continue to strengthen our leadership in new and exciting parts of the category.”

In addition, Müller entered the lactose-free segment with the launch of Corner Lactose-Free yoghurt.

Produced using Müller Milk, the yoghurt will be available in Asda from May, Morrisons from June, and Tesco later in the year.

The new Corner Lactose-Free yoghurt will be released in two different flavours, namely strawberry and red cherry.

It will be available in single-flavour four-packs and can be purchased for an RRP of £2.89
