Nestlé continues to innovate, meeting fast-moving consumer trends in the UK and Ireland with the launch of nitrogen-infused coffee drink “Nescafé Azera Nitro.” The food and beverage giant has unveiled the new Nescafé range of nitrogen-infused cans, available across Britain’s retail sector and in the foodservice arena.
There are two flavors of coffee in nitrogen infused cans – Nescafé Azera Nitro Americano and Nescafé Azera Nitro Latte.
When a can of Nescafé Azera Nitro is opened, there is a refreshing sound that occurs as the nitrogen is released; infusing through the coffee. This not only builds anticipation of the first sip, says Nestlé, but the nitrogen gives the coffee a smoother and creamier taste.
Nestlé Professional will offer chilled Nescafé Azera Nitro Americano on tap in bars, pubs, restaurants and across the hospitality sector.
Nescafé Azera Nitro is available in Americano or Latte flavors. Nescafé Azera Nitro Americano is a refreshing and smooth black coffee infused with nitrogen, while Nescafé Azera Nitro Latte is a milky drink with coffee offering a smooth and creamier tasting option.
“This is an exciting launch and promises to bring our premium Nescafé Azera brand to the forefront of the fast-growing chilled coffee segment,” says UK and Ireland Managing Director, Nestlé Beverages Neil Stephens.
“In the year when we are celebrating the 80th Birthday of Nescafé, the launch of Nescafé Azera Nitro shows how our business is continually innovating and evolving with the times.”
Nescafé Azera Nitro is made with coffee sourced through the Nescafé Plan, a project that helps coffee farmers grow viable, healthy crops, and focuses on keeping coffee farming sustainable.
“With Nescafé Azera Nitro joining the Nestlé Professional range, we can offer our partners even more choice for their customers. The unique Azera Nitro coffee drink will be served from a lightweight, easy to set up and use tap, mesmerizing consumers by the settling effect caused by the nitrogen as its poured into a glass,” adds Nestlé Professional Business Executive Officer, George Vezza.
“Non-alcoholic beverage options are increasingly important for the UK and Irish consumer, especially younger generations. Nescafé Azera Nitro means Nestlé Professional can help our partners across all the catering and hospitality sectors make the most of these changes with our novel, attractive and great tasting chilled coffee drink.”
