US-based J&J Snack Foods has introduced Sour Patch Kids flavoured ice pops following a successful license agreement with Mondelēz International.
With a sweet frozen base and unique sour swirl, Sour Patch Kids ice pops will be available in retail and club stores throughout the US and Canadian markets.
The new Sour Patch Kids ice pops will be available in five different flavours including Blue Raspberry, Lemon, Lime, Orange and Redberry.
J&J senior vice-president Jerry Law said: “As a leader in the frozen novelty industry, we are thrilled to expand our partnership with Mondelēz to bring the iconic Sour Patch Kids brand to frozen novelties.
"What makes this product shine is the sour swirl we infused into a sweet, frozen base, giving Sour Patch Kids candy fans the perfect ‘sour then sweet’ flavour profile."

The Sour Patch Kids flavoured ice pops will be available in 12-count variety packs with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $2.50-$3.50.
Consumers also have the option to purchase the Sour Patch Kids ice pops in a 30-count pack for an SRP of $5.99-$7.99.
The Sour Patch Kids brand was originally launched in the US in 1985 by Mondelēz.
Headquartered in New Jersey, J&J has been offering snack foods to foodservice outlets and retail supermarkets across the US.
