US meat distributor and exporter Quirch Foods (Quirch) will be distributing Certified Angus Beef branded products from its Chicago distribution centre.
Created in 1978 by a family of ranchers, Certified Angus Beef is known for its quality and generous marbling.
Quirch anticipates that the new Certified Angus Beef will complement its existing brands that include Panamei Seafood, Chiquita Frozen and Mambo brands.
With the new addition, retailers will have the opportunity to purchase a full range of beef cuts, including rounds, chucks, thin meats, middle meats and ground beef.
The Chicago facility expands Quirch’s approval for the brand to all the distribution centres operated by the company in the US.
“We’ve developed a proven record with the Certified Angus Beef brand, which has been instrumental in getting our Chicago distribution centre approved.”
Quirch Foods purchasing director Anthony Schneider said: “We’ve developed a proven record with the Certified Angus Beef brand, which has been instrumental in getting our Chicago distribution centre approved.
“This brand added to our extensive product offering and our other successful premium brands will allow us to supply our customers with the premium beef the market demands.”
Headquartered in Miami, Quirch has been supplying fresh and frozen foods in the south-eastern US regions, as well as in the Americas.
Its products are supplied to a wide range of customers, including independent grocers, chain supermarkets, foodservice distributors, cruise lines, restaurants and food processors/manufacturers.
Quirch operates distribution facilities in Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago and Puerto Rico.
