China National Standardization of Food & Fermentation Center issued a notice about soliciting opinions on 7 national food safety standards as “Food additives Sodium glutamate” (exposure draft), etc.
 

7 national food safety standards of “Food additives Glutamate”, “Food additives d-xylose”, “Food additives Carmine red”, “Food additives Rouge orange”, “Food additives Peanut-skin red”, “Food additives Copper potassium salt chlorophyllate” and “Food nutrition fortification Choline bitartrate” was included in the project plan of national food safety standard (second batch) in 2016, China National Standardization of Food & Fermentation Center issued the exposure draft, and solicited public opinions on it, the deadline for soliciting opinions is August 20, 2017.

Health Food Review Center of China Food and Drug Administration issued the notice about related matters of registration and extending registration applicant voluntarily submitting supplementary materials of new health food products in transitional period

In order to further implement the relevant provisions of “Announcement of China Food and Drug Administration about the related matters of transition and linkage of review and approval work for health food registration” (No.172, 2016 of China Food and Drug Administration), further simplify the review process and improve the efficiency of the review, Health Food Review Center of China Food and Drug Administration issued the notice about related matters of registration and extending registration (re-registration) applicant voluntarily submitting supplementary materials of new health food products in transitional period.
