The Association of Citrus Producers of Peru - PROCITRUS, which accounts for 86% of the countrys citrus exports, reported that by week 30 of the current campaign exports of late mandarins, such as the W. Murcott and Tango variety, had increased by around 4% when compared to the same period of 2017. According to official data, the country exported 35,069 tons (1,612 containers) by week 30 of 2017, and 36,463 tons (1,673 containers) in 2018, which represents an increase of 3.98%.
