Two recent typhoons affected all 635 towns in the 81 counties and 13 cities of Shandong to various degrees. Shouguang in Weifang, Qingzhou, and Linqu were among the most severely affected areas. The floodwater caused by the typhoon affected more than 100 thousand vegetable greenhouses in Shouguang.
Shouguang City residents tried to increase the speed with which the water drained from greenhouses in recent days. At present, more than 66 thousand greenhouses have been drained, and the remaining 40 thousand are currently being emptied of floodwater.
