Orora Packaging Solutions has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Accu-Label.

Orora Packaging Solutions President Bernie Salvatore said, “At Orora, we are constantly looking for better and more efficient ways to grow our business into new markets, whether geographically or with new customer segments. Orora said that complement their existing products, they will now be offering Accu-Label’s specialty fruit labels and label application equipment.

Ag-Tronic Control Systems (Accu-Label’s design and engineering firm), has been in business since 1991, with a primary focus on machine vision, robotics, and automation solutions in agricultural technology. Accu-Labels ORB-it® Labeling system is currently in its 11th year of production. The company said it is able to provide GS1- DataBar (GTIN) and any other variable data in real-time. The company said its aim is to minimize the negative impact on the environment by choosing to produce a biodegradable paper-based label that degrades faster than the plastic label alternatives.
