Camperdown Dairy Company (CDC), a subsidiary of Australian Dairy Nutritionals Group, has extended its production contract with The Collective, a New Zealand-based manufacturer of high-protein yoghurts and Kefir cultured milk drinks.

       The contract has been extended by an additional two years, taking the initial term from four to six years.

       The move is said to be in response to the increase in sales and satisfied production volumes since the beginning of this year.

       Camperdown Dairy recently started the production of an additional seven new products for The Collective brand.

       The Australian dairy company has agreed to invest in a high-speed pouch machine to advance production capability.

       Camperdown Dairy expects that the new production line will begin its operations by the end of this year.

       The board of the Australian Dairy Nutritionals Group said that it is satisfied with the developments between the two companies and intends to provide full support to The Collective’s ongoing product innovations, as well as further strengthen CDC’s production capabilities.

       With the latest contract, CDC expects growth in the company’s sales revenue of A$70m ($49m).

       Earlier this month, Australian Dairy Nutritionals Group announced the acquisition of an infant formula plant, which will include its nutritional mixing equipment, evaporator and dryer for an undisclosed sum.

       Australian Dairy Nutritionals Group, which completed the purchase of its processing plant Camperdown Dairy Company in April 2016, is now a vertically integrated milk producer, processor and product distributor in Australia and for export.
