Kopparberg has launched Sparkling Rosé Cider in the UK.

Initially to be stocked in Asda stores, the 7% cider will be available in two flavours, strawberry and raspberry, and packaged in a 750ml bottle.

Following the success of the limited edition KopparKeg last summer, Sparkling Rosé Cider is the latest shareable offering from Kopparberg that aims to extend fruit cider into the traditional sparkling wine drinking occasion.

Rob Salvesen, senior marketing manager at Kopparberg, comments, "The continued growth of the sparkling wine market has undoubtedly in part been down to the shareable drinking occasions consumers associated in the trial last year with the products in the category. The success of our KopparKeg also demonstrated that fruit cider drinkers are increasingly looking for propositions that can be shared and enjoyed with friends and family. Thats why were excited to be adding Sparkling Rosé to our range, a premium cider alternative for the traditional sparkling wine drinking occasion."
