Perfetti Van Melle is preparing for summer by launching Mentos Mix on the Beach, a limited edition pack of chewy confectionery in fruity cocktail flavours.
The new singles contain three flavours: Peach Orange, Strawberry Banana and Passionfruit Mango. The brand expects the new product to appeal to a younger audience thanks to the bright packaging and tropical flavour combinations.
Perfetti Van Melle says retailers should position them in the middle of main confectionery fixtures and in areas of the store that receive the highest footfall to generate excitement.
Claire Powley, senior brand manager for Mentos, says, "Were proud to be leading innovation within the category and driving sales during a key period of the year for retailers. On the go consumption represents 24% of the confectionery market and theres a huge opportunity during the warmer months to increase sales as consumers spend more time outside socialising."
The launch will be supported with a strong ATL advertising campaign for the brand.
