Red Lobster expands shrimp offerings

ORLANDO, FLA. — Red Lobster is introducing three new shrimp dishes for a limited time as part of its Big Festival of Shrimp promotion.

The seafood chain’s new Wild-Caught Firecracker Red Shrimp features panko-crusted shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy chili sauce. The new Creamy Shrimp-and-Cheese Linguini combines shrimp and linguini tossed in a creamy cheddar and Parmesan sauce and topped with toasted Parmesan panko. The new Bourbon-Brown Sugar Grilled Shrimp includes wood-grilled shrimp brushed with a bourbon and brown sugar glaze.

“Shrimp is one of the most versatile seafood proteins, making it perfect for seafood lovers to explore new flavors and preparations,” said Dustin Hilinski, executive chef and director, Culinary at Red Lobster. “The Big Festival of Shrimp is a great opportunity for guests to try new combinations, and perhaps even expand their flavor palates as they start the new year.”

New seasonal side dishes include roasted green beans and mushrooms and roasted carrots and butternut squash, both topped with bourbon brown butter.
