US-based private equity firm San Francisco Equity Partners (SFEP) has acquired a major stake in Red Monkey Foods, an organic spices and seasonings company.

The companies have not revealed the financial details of the transaction.

“We were seeking a partner with deep experience in our retail channels and a demonstrated ability to help consumer businesses scale profitably."

based in Springfield, Missouri, Red Monkey Foods has been producing organic spices, seasonings and other natural dry food products for wide range markets.
