New York-based equity fund firm JMK Consumer Growth Partners (JMK) has invested in Miyokos Kitchen, an American supplier of non-dairy, vegan cheese and butter alternatives.
The investment will be used by Miyokos Kitchen towards enhancing product assortment and distribution capabilities, as well as the completion of a new manufacturing facility in Petaluma, California.
Miyokos Kitchen founder Miyoko Schinner said: "JMK and Miyokos Kitchen are a perfect match. The JMK teams understanding of food trends and their appreciation for true innovation in the food space impressed me immediately.

Established in 2014 by vegan chef Miyoko Schinner, Miyoko Kitchens products are available in Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, Wegmans, Raleys, Trader Joes and many other retailers.
