EnviroTechnologies International (ETI) has signed a letter of intent with Purity Assurance NW to jointly market its agriculture products to the US fruit industry.
The focus will be primarily in the apple, pear and cherry markets.
ETI noted that revenues of more than $2bn are generated through these markets on an annual basis in the northwestern US, and it represents 50% of the annual consumption of these products in the country.
ETI CEO John Hopkins said: "Our company has been successful in testing safe, green and non-toxic solutions for crop simulation and an anti-bacterial treatment to growers in this sector.
"Our core technology is being used in fruit orchards and processing plants currently and has proven an effective cleaner and anti-bacterial treatment solution. Tests also reveal that our products may increase fruit yields while keeping the environment safe.
“Purity Assurance and its principal, John Poss, have been very successful in marketing helpful products to growers in the northwestern US for many years. "
International exports of apple, pear and cherry is also nearly 30% of the total annual crop.

Purity Assurance NW principal John Poss said: "We have been part of the north-west US apple, pear and cherry markets for many years and have built excellent relationships with some of the largest growers and processors in the US.
“ETIs products are unique and we feel will have great application for our customers in this fruit sector."
